We are your project management partner during all phases of construction projects. Together with your team, we develop the best contract strategy for your project. Which project type leads to the lowest risk profile and the highest chance of successful implementation?
Based on the contract strategy, we form a client project team together with your organisation. We work from an organisational chart in which we fill the roles you do not have in-house. Our professionals work according to in-house Vijverberg processes.
During execution, our consultants work from the construction site. We are close to the work. Our focus is on steering information. Based on KPIs, we ensure that the Project Manager can make well-founded decisions on whether or not to add resources or instruct scope changes.
Our approach
Together with you, we start by drawing up the contract strategy. How can the project be brought to market with the lowest risk profile? Which party will do the engineering? Is a main contractor the best solution, or is the risk profile more favourable with a subdivision into smaller packages?
Based on the contract strategy, we advise on the required principal project team to be a good discussion partner for the contractors already in the tender phase. We work from an organisational chart where we complement your organisation with the roles you do not have in-house.
We then create the first master schedule for the project. This is based on the WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) and includes all lead times of permit procedures and forms the basis for the milestone schedules in the contracts with the contractors.
In the structure of the WBS, we also create the cost control structure so that there is detailed insight into whether the budget is complete and the shifts until final investment decision.
We draw up contracts and, together with you, we select the best contractors for your project and conduct negotiations with them. In doing so, we focus on preparing transparent decision-making documents for your board.
During execution, our consultants work from the construction site. We are close to the work. The focus is on realising steering information. Based on KPIs, we ensure that the Project Manager can make well-founded decisions on whether to add resources or instruct scope changes. Based on the same information, we provide board reports.

Construction of a purchasing station for Maasvlakte 2 wind farm
On the second Maasvlakte, Eneco is building a wind farm with 116 megawatts of power on behalf of the Directorate-General for Public Works and Water Management. The 22 innovative onshore wind turbines will be connected to a substation by SPIE.
