Construction of prototype freezers
Pfizer is expanding production capacity in Puurs-Sint-Amands and increasing cold storage capabilities for corona vaccines. The vaccines enter a ‘blast freezer’ in which they are cooled to -70 degrees Celsius. Once at this temperature, they can go to normal storage (-50 degrees Celsius). Currently, the freezer and associated conveyors and systems need to be made.
Pfizer is expanding cold storage options for vaccines, among other things. Never before have such large freezers been built. The huge dimensions of the freezers make this project unique. The freezers are prototypes, which means there are many unexpected events during implementation.
The role of Vijverberg
Vijverberg drew up and updated the integral construction planning. We use a fortnightly outlook to coordinate the execution work.

Expansion oil terminal Antwerp
Vesta Terminals provides logistics services in the form of storage and transhipment, mainly for crude oil, refined petroleum products, biofuels and petrochemicals. The storage locations are in Antwerp, Vlissingen, and Tallinn. In Antwerp, Vesta has expanded its storage.
The role of Vijverberg
Vijverberg drafted the contracts and the commercial package for this project and subsequently supported the negotiations with the contractors.
