Factory upgrade – Maintenance planning must be as efficient as possible

Lamb Weston is one of the largest potato producers in the world. They make frozen chips in all shapes and sizes, and supply semi-finished products for soup, mashed potatoes or as food product binders.

The Kruiningen plant has three production lines, two of which are partially upgraded. These upgrades are largely done during production stops and, where possible, when work is carried out during production. This involves many contractors, for whom Vijverberg has drawn up the planning and for which Vijverberg coordinates the contractors’ work.

The role of Vijverberg

We organise and facilitate the entire process to arrive at an agreed-upon planning. During execution, we monitor progress so that the work is completed on time and production can be restarted. To this end, Vijverberg creates a schedule in which all contractors can see what the activities are on a daily basis.
