Vijverberg’s executive board consists of five members who are jointly responsible for developing the organisation and ensuring the quality of services.
Jouke van der Schors MA MSc
Jouke has extensive experience in contract management and dispute resolution for complex international construction projects. Jouke supports clients and contractors in drafting and negotiating contracts and claims, and as expert witness in various sectors including industry, infrastructure, and real estate.
Jouke holds an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Groningen and an MA from London Metropolitan University. He successfully completed a specialisation course as a Legal Expert at the University of Leiden and is registered as an Expert Witness with the LRGD.
Managing Director
Guido Gielen BSc
Guido Gielen manages the Vijverberg Planning & Risk teams.
Guido has over 15 years of experience in Planning and Risk Management of complex projects and in Forensic Schedule Analysis. Guido was responsible for these activities in leading projects such as the construction of a greenfield coal-fired power station and the construction of the North/South metro link in Amsterdam.
Guido obtained a BSc in Civil Engineering from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and a Master in Construction Project Management from HAN University. He successfully completed the specialisation course as a Legal Expert at the University of Leiden.
Director Planning & Risk Management
Ron Petersen EMFC RC
Ron Petersen manages the Vijverberg Cost team.
Ron has a track-record of over 25 years in (financial) control of projects. He has deep experience in the implementation of project control for large and complex projects for asset owners in the sectors civil, infrastructure, energy, and industry. On the contractor-side, Ron has over 10 years of hands-on experience with the financial control of portfolios for small and mid-sized construction projects. Ron has developed niche skills in the valuation of work in progress. Ron acts as an expert witness for quantum assessment, and restructuring and insolvency for construction projects.
Ron obtained an Executive Master of Finance & Control from the University of Amsterdam and is a Register Controller. He successfully completed the specialisation course as a Legal Expert at the University of Leiden and is registered as an Expert Witness with the LRGD.
Director Cost Management
Jan-Willem van Beek
Jan-Willem manages the Vijverberg Project Management team.
He has over 20 years of experience in Project Management for complex projects. In his role as director of projects and business unit director, Jan-Willem was responsible for portfolios of projects for a mechanical contractor and a specialist steel construction company. He has deep Project Management experience in energy, automotive, and data centre projects.
Jan-Willem graduated from Eindhoven University of Applied Sciences with a BSc in Business Administration and Engineering, and he attended a Management Development programme at TSM Business School.

Marie-Thérèse Cleophas
Marie-Thérèse manages the Vijverberg Contract Management Team.
She has extensive experience in contract management and legal matters in an industrial environment. She advised offshore contractors in sustanaible energy projects and on the client side in energy and CO2 storage. She supports clients across projects with agreements, compliance and regulatory matters. In the field of dispute resolution, she brings her expertise as a lawyer and as a lawyer at the Netherlands Arbitration Institute.
Marie-Thérèse obtained her master’s degree in Dutch law from Erasmus University Rotterdam. She successfully completed the Energy Law Course at the University of Groningen.

What we do
We employ our Project Management and Dispute Resolution services throughout the entire project cycle. We do this for both clients and contractors. In addition, Vijverberg provides independent expert reports on construction time delays and costs.
