Risks and uncertainties can have a major impact on project outcomes. Dealing with and anticipating such changing circumstances is the art of risk management. Timeous switching and control measures during construction or building projects prevents budget overruns.

Your partner in Risk Management
We are your partner during all phases of the construction process. We support clients with identifying the risks before an investment decision. We also support contractors in understanding the risks before a contractor submits an offer.
At the start of the project, we clarify the risks together with all project stakeholders and determine which control measures are needed and which party will take them. This includes the risk of unforeseen price increases and long delivery times.
At each stage of the project, we review the risk profile to see if risks have changed.
Together with the project stakeholders, we organise workshops that systematically identify risks by theme. They look at, for example, technology, requirements and priorities, and the approach and cooperation between stakeholders. The risk workshops are useful to methodically identify risks in order to deploy control measures effectively. The outcomes of the workshops are incorporated into the risk register.
Together with the project planning, the risk register is used for a Monte Carlo Analysis. This analysis reveals which risks have the greatest impact on the project result. We use this analysis to determine the feasibility of the project’s delivery date and budget.
We develop a contract risk analysis which makes the contractual risks transparent.
Together with your organisation, we form well-coordinated project teams with a drive for results. Vijverberg shows ownership for the project objectives. Vijverberg works fully integrated into your project team.
Does your project need more than just Risk Management support? Vijverberg also offers multidisciplinary teams and specialists for your procurement processes, contract drafting, and cost and data mapping and management.
In addition, we offer independent expert reports on construction time delays and costs.
